Five Things I Hate About Sydney

5. The heat.

4. The poodles with painted toenails.

3. The indie rock.

2. The pink shirts on straight guys

1. The fact that everyone here, whether they are the most dedicated drum and bass nut or the trve-ist black metal psycho loves Kylie Minogue.

Yes. The pink shirt phenomenon is troubling.

Indie rock is also an irritation.

Luckily I seem to have been able to dodge the rest of those things (although I don't look that closely at poodles)

I LOVE Kylie!

I also like "indie rock" - but half the so called indie rock is just cleverly marketed stuff. Cleverly in that in convinces people they are cool for listening to it.

Pink shirts I have no problem with, but the *people* who wear pink *polo* shirts are usually not my kind of people. I wouldn't put it past me to wear a pink t-shirt one day, although it wouldn't be my first choice.

(BTW, the first paragraph was a joke ;P)

How do you mean 'highly evolved'? Most of the men in Sydney are pot bellied, ugly and obnoxious. Of course, this does not seem to impede their attempts to pick up the hot women.

Sounds very different from down here. In Sydney it's the women who spend heaps of time making themselves looking good in order to compete for the desirable mates, aka overweight middle aged guys with a few million dollars.
