Google Reader

...is absolute gold.

The only downside is that it concatenates everything in your RSS feed onto a single page. So some troubling, serious post from No Right Turn melds straight on into whatever hardcore porn stills are on the front page of Fleshbot (NSFW).

And speaking of Fleshbot and RSS, I wonder why they split their feeds into 'gay' and 'straight' (and 'all'). It seems a little sexist. Shouldn't it be 'people who like boys', 'people who like girls' and 'people who like everyone'?

One day I'll migrate...

Yup I've been using Google Reader for a few months now.

You know how to make folders and tag feeds right? That way if you select a particular folder it only shows the feed entries from that folder. I have one for friends/tech/music/news etc.

The other issue that I'm having with the reader is that, now that I dont need to actually go to your blog, I can easily miss out on other ppls comments...

such as these two.

Also, it means that I only just saw your new picture. Looking good, hombre.

Squirk - Migrating is not too hard if the two readers in question do opml import/export.

Joel - To be honest, I kind of like having the entire crazy spectrum of my blogroll mashed up into one big katamari of internetness. It's worth the occasional cognitive dissonance.

Barnes - even though I use a reader, I do still make a special effort to read the comments of you guys' blogs... awww....

(And thank Ben M for his quick camera taking reflexes, catching me in a rare (cough) moment of drunken madness which happened to be perfect for my blog. I think I was singing along to NIN)
